PoC Solutions Poised to Grow Behind Commercial Market Opportunity and the Eventual Ratification of the MCPTT Standard
With the rapid pace of development of wireless networks and the massive proliferation of smart mobile devices, opportunities for PoC solutions are emerging in business-critical and operations-critical use cases. Business critical use cases primarily revolve around business and administrative communities, while operationscritical use cases revolve around day-to-day operations and worker safety (so sectors like utilities, transportation, airports, etc.) While PoC solutions are currently being evaluated and implemented in the commercial market, they are still a long ways away from being a true mission-critical solution.
