We are looking for Market Research Analysts to support our growing practices in AutoID & Data Capture, Enterprise Mobility & Connected Devices, IoT & Embedded Software Development and Hardware Platforms and Industrial Automation & Sensors. Help provide clients with the ultra-reliable market data and expert insights they need to make big decisions about products, markets, channels, and partnerships with confidence from our Natick, Massachusetts location. The research analyst will support the creation and execution of syndicated and custom market research reports, manage and support related custom research projects, communicate and present VDC’s positions at industry events, corporate meetings, and other public forums through a number of traditional and new media channels managed by VDC and its partners. You will develop and maintain your brand and the brands of VDC and your practice and provide support for related marketing, business development and sales activities.
The Successful Candidate Must Have:
BA/BS degree in a related field (e.g. statistics, marketing, market research, business management); MA or MBA degree are a plus
Working knowledge of specific technologies and/or markets listed above
Quantitative and qualitative analysis skills and experience
Ability to assimilate complex data sets, identify critical theme and implications, define creative strategy alternatives and the ability to communicate to clients in concise and polished verbal, written and/or spreadsheet formats
Experience with surveys and survey software platforms (i.e., Qualtrics, Q, SPSS)
Expertise with MS Office applications (Excel, Power Point, and Word)
Familiarity with statistical data analysis methods and tools
Experience in project, program and/or product management in a tech supplier or manufacturing organization
Ability and willingness to travel to attend industry events and support client engagements
