COVID-19 Impact on AIDC & Enterprise Mobility Markets in 2020

2019 was a mixed year – growth wise – for many of the AIDC and enterprise mobility technologies tracked by VDC Research. Although this was largely a function of a difficult comparison coming off a blockbuster 2018, it also uncovered some of the fundamental challenges facing OEMs and its partners. 2019 offered many organizations the opportunity to recalibrate their operations – from R&D prioritizations and go to market models to product portfolio rationalization and emerging technologies exploration – as they embarked on the next decade.
