The rising complexity and security concerns for the software code bases that support IoT/embedded systems and enterprise/IT applications drive increased demand for automated testing tools. Adoption of iterative development methodologies, incorporation of third-party code, and adherence to process standards push this growing demand forward at an increasing rate. This report analyzes the emerging trends, use cases, and commercial market for automated testing tools, including static analysis, dynamic, and model-based tools.
