Collaborative robotics is developing at a rapid pace in warehousing, distribution, and logistics. The concept of collaboration in robotics originated in safety, as any robot can be considered collaborative if specific spatial and technical requirements are met. However, the disruptive impact of the recent pandemic and continued labor and productivity challenges has pushed the development and acceptance of robotics in logistics environments and workflows exponentially.
