Enterprise Mobility 2012 Outlook: A Flavor of What to Expect

Considering what transpired in 2011 in enterprise mobility, it is hard to imagine a year as fast-paced and filled with opportunities. Clearly the market has evolved from a niche point solution to a mainstream segment of the IT landscape. There were numerous developments in enterprise mobility that defined 2011 – including: Motorola landing a large managed services contract with Sears, Lowes deploying over 40K iPhones for their store associates, the introduction of the first rugged Android-powered tablets, and mobile point of sale (POS) gaining momentum. 2012 promises to be just as dynamic.
